London by car

London, United Kingdom

As an American from the Midwest, I am used to driving on the left side of the road and the left front inside of the car. In London riding passenger side front left seat careening down the road was a little odd. Cracking smiles every now and then. Top down, sun beaming with the sky was a different kind of blue, I enjoyed the view. The smiles came after seeing or feeling something definitely not New York, not United States. London played Big Brother to Little Brother New York oh so well. The story was in the Architecture. Pilgrims left and built their own style from the template here. I came to see it for myself. Never just a ride. An adventure! Portobello Road Saturday Street Market, Westminster Abbey, Oxford Street, Big Ben, and even the Eye of London across the Thames River. Enjoy.

That was fun!!! Great post. A good tip is simply crossing the street. You better look right before you step off that curb or something bad could happen.
