Many great African-Americans from Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American on the Supreme Court, to jazz legend Eubie Blake were born here. In honor of its rich Black history, Baltimore built the largest African-American museum on the East coast. Today, the city continues its rich African-American heritage as the home of the NAACP.
