Amazing to see such an interesting, vibrant woman and her community of sisters. Inspiring!

This is one of my favorite vids on this site. Judi is so insightful and her sister circle is one to be admired. Would love to see more like this.

What a magical woman. She's got that old soul thing going on. She's the type of woman you could have a great conversation about anything with... and afterwards her words will stay with you for a long time.

Wow wow wow... Sistah makes me want to go back to Barcelona... I used to love going to Barcelona in the early 2000 until the racist attitude and mistreatment of African brothers in Southern Spain had gotten quite offensive. I boycotted Spain and I have not been back sinc . That was about 7 years ago. Seeing this clip of Sister Judi Oshowole made me want to re-acquaint with Barcelona.

FASCINATING! I've hardly EVER seen black folks during my visits to Barca, so glad to see the BIBS organization for black women exists. How inspiring -- I want to meet THEM next time I'm in Spain! Maureen www.UrbanTravelGirl.com

I remember visiting Barcelona in November of 1998 over Thanksgiving break. Such a beautiful city. Only a few other places where you can have such an old world feel near great beaches. I stayed in a modest hotel near La Rambla. If you love architecture the Gaudi influence is surreal. Please do post the information for the BIBS organization. I would love to connect with them as well if i'm ever back in the city! :)

Sisters are everywhere. This reminds me of a group of black women that have a similar bond in (of all places) Copenhagen. I sent this email to a friend of mine that lived in Copenhagen for five years. I hope she will share a similar story about the unity of black women there.

It is great to hear a true representation of the black community here in Barcelona, especially from such an inspiring woman. . This city is for everyone and is a pleasure to live in!

In making plans to travel to Europe in May of this year, I came upon your website with your interview with Judi Oshowle of Barcelona. Within a couple of week, I had made contact with Judi and by the time we arrived, Barcelona International Black Sisters (BIBS) had arranged a brunch for us. From May 6-17, my cousin I had traveled to Barcelona, Naples, Rome, Florence, Nice and Toulon. What remains close to my heart, was my fellowship with the women of BIBS and afterwards reading about the work that Judi does on behalf of women. Thank you.
